My guitar model ”Arbolito” is the fusion between an electric guitar and my roots in acoustic blues and Hawaiian jazz.
I have always admired the look of old Hawaiian ukuleles and Weissenborn guitars.
I got hooked early on by Ry Cooder (and his Coodercaster), Gabby Pahinui and Flaco Jimenez.
The Chicken Skin album has become the reference both musically and aesthetically.
I decided to melt all my influences together, to make an electric guitar I'd like myself,
being an acoustic folk/hawaii/blues fingerpicker.
This is simply how my Swedish brain processed the sounds and images of places I've been and dreams i dreamt, Texmex, Hawaiian, sandblasted, sunbleached paint and wood left on the beach with cigarbuts and seashells, the smell of humidity and lemon/chlorine in the hotel room.. and so on…
